Estepona will be one of the venues of the II Andalusí Cup V+35 next Saturday, September 14th.

The games will be played at the San Fernando Soccer Field.

The Estepona City Council informs that the regional 11-a-side soccer tournament for veterans, the II Andalusí Cup V+35, will be held in the town as a representative of the province of Malaga.

The matches of the tournament, organized by the Club Deportivo Estepona Fútbol Base and the collaboration of the municipal delegation of Sport and the C.D. Estepona Veterans, will be played at the Municipal Football Field San Fernando next Saturday, September 14, from 09.00 to 21.30 hours, with free access.

This tournament, in its second edition, has become the most important at regional level in terms of veterans +35 is concerned, having to be divided into different zones due to requests for participation of large teams from all over Andalusia.

The motive of the parent entity of this tournament ‘Veteranos Peloteros Granada’, promoter and collaborator of solidarity actions and associations from the world of soccer, is to create a day of sporting coexistence for soccer teams of category ‘Veteran Over 35 Years’, in the form of Football-11. Therefore, the target population for this event is athletes aged between 35 and 99 years, in an estimated number of 48 participating teams from the 8 Andalusian provinces, which will play together in different venues, Estepona being one of them.

The inscriptions of the teams will be made online and by email directly with ‘Veteranos Peloteros Granada’, by complete teams and through the president or responsible of the different clubs.
