Estepona’s Plaza de Toros will host the musical show ‘Aidalai, Tributo a Mecano’.
The performance, which will pay tribute to what is considered to be the best Spanish pop group in history, will take place next Thursday, August 8, at 10:00 pm.
The Estepona Town Hall informs that Aidalai presents ‘Tribute to Mecano’ next Thursday, August 8, at 22:00 hours, at the Plaza de Toros.
‘Aidalai’ is much more than a concert; it is a show of light and color that pays tribute to what has been the best known pop group of the national scene, Mecano.
Since their last concert in Valladolid in 1992, the group has not reunited to give concerts and few have dared to perform their repertoire live.
With a very accomplished voice and two multi-instrumentalist musicians Aidalai takes us by the hand on a journey through time in which the audience will dance, sing and possibly cry remembering many of the songs that were the soundtrack of their lives.
Perfectly studied music, lights synchronized with the show, guitars, keytars, keyboards, snow, smoke and a huge triangle as the center of the stage, which changes color, to create the necessary atmosphere and take us to a decade of songs to remember.
Time goes by, things fall into place and two generations later, everything is still the same. Mecano is still acclaimed. Manu Porras, Pepe Monzón, Daniel Millán and Isabel Fernández perfectly triangulate a show that promises to make vibrate through the songs of the mythical group. It is the ‘Aidalai’ moment.
