Fifty students from the Municipal Sports Schools participated in the XXV Meeting of Seniors in Sports in Guaro.

The event aims to promote coexistence and active aging through sports.

Estepona City Council reports that a representation of 50 students of the Municipal Sports Schools, accompanied by two municipal technicians, participated yesterday Tuesday in the XXV Meeting of Seniors in Sport held in the town of Guaro, an event organized by the Sports area of the Provincial Council of Malaga.

Participants in this program are people over 60 years old enrolled in the municipal programs of physical activity for seniors in sport.

The activity began at 10.30 am and ended around 14.00 hours, and consisted of multiple circuits of skill and physical exercise in which participants could enjoy the sport.

The activity, which aims to promote coexistence and active aging through sport, brought together some 230 people from Estepona, Alhaurín el Grande, Alozaina, Guaro, Istán, Manilva and Yunquera.

The meetings began on October 23 in Campillos and continued on November 6 in Cuevas del Becerro, November 7 in Algarrobo, November 12 in Villanueva del Rosario, November 19 in Guaro, and will end on November 26 in Casabermeja.
