The Estepona Town Hall informs that the theatrical comedy ‘Estado de Alarma’ will arrive at the Felipe VI Auditorium next Saturday, February 3, at 19:00 hours. The play stars actors Lara Dibildos and César Lucendo.
The comedy, written and directed by César Lucendo himself, who debuts as a playwright with this play, takes place during the pandemic, but the virus is not the protagonist. The protagonists are Fede and Julia. Two strangers who, due to this terrible circumstance, have to live together. Estado de Alarma’ is a romantic comedy, at times nonsensical, capable of making the audience cry with laughter and then touching their hearts.
Synopsis. Fede, a policeman on leave for depression, decides to put up for sale the house where he used to live with his ex-wife, as it brings back many memories.
Julia, a lawyer living in London, sees the ad and decides to pay a visit to the house, as she needs a house immediately in Madrid to take up a new job.
It is March 14, 2020. Julia sees the house and it is a mess. Walls full of graffiti, a horrible neighborhood, full of delinquents and, to top it off, every 10 minutes the walls shake because of the train that passes a few meters from the house.
Julia gets angry and leaves, slamming the door. Then there’s a knock at the door, and it’s her again. A state of alarm has just been declared.
They don’t know each other at all… They don’t like each other… They have nothing to do with each other… But they have to spend time together, as long as the confinement lasts.
Tickets are on sale at www.tafestepona.com and at the Auditorium box office on the day of the performance, starting two hours before the beginning of the show.
