Piano Concert ‘El abrazo del silencio’ by Ángel Moya, at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel

The pianist and composer will present his albums ‘Hacia el Silencio’ and ‘La Alegría de Vivir’ on Friday, March 15, at 7:30 pm.

The Estepona City Council informs that the young pianist and composer Angel Moya will offer a concert next Friday, March 15, at 7:30 pm, at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. Under the title ‘The embrace of silence’, the artist will present on the same stage where he debuted before the public in 2015, the albums ‘Towards Silence’ and ‘The Joy of Living’, in what he calls “Piano and poetry to discover life in every moment”.

Tickets are priced at 10 euros and can be purchased at the box office from one hour before the start of the concert.

Ángel Moya, pianist and composer. Born in Granada in 1997, the pianist and composer Ángel Moya began to study music at the age of seven and at the age of nine he started the conservatory. He studied Professional Music Studies at the CPM Martín Tenllado in Malaga, where he obtained the title of Piano Teacher being a student of Santiago García Cuba, Jesús Pedro Castro and Jesús Polonio. Later he enters the Superior Conservatory of Seville, where he graduates as a composer in 2022 with Professor Alberto Carretero, and as a pianist in 2023 with Professors Jorge Lechado and Patricia Arauzo.

In his facet as a composer, since 2015 highlights the premieres of his original pieces for piano in different halls of Spanish cities, including Madrid, Malaga and Granada.

In September 2023 he recorded his first studio album, an EP entitled “Hacia el Silencio”, which includes six compositions for solo piano, and he has just finished his second album, “La Alegría de Vivir”.

At the same time, since 2014 he has been teaching piano and harmony, and has also developed one of his most interesting facets, the art of improvisation, accompanying in different events, talks and colloquiums around the peninsula.
