Also published by Nimbro Ediciones, this is a novel set in the Enchanted Valley of northern Portugal. Located in the Alto Douro, it is covered by large extensions of vineyards from which the most famous Portuguese wine is extracted: Port wine. But this valley keeps many mysteries hidden in the quintas where this “drink of the gods” is produced. In one of them, the Quinta da Morte, this story unfolds, whose ending is as heartbreaking as it is unexpected.
In 2022, Teresa Potoc presented at Casa de Las Tejerinas the first part of this trilogy, ‘Crimes in the city of a thousand minarets’, a book of mystery, murders and lots of action, inspired by the city of Cairo. It was followed last year by ‘Giuliana’, a thrilling novel set in Rome, full of extreme adventures, feeling, beauty and mystery. The trilogy ends now with ‘Roots of wine and blood’.
