The Academia El Patio Aprender a Cantar celebrates the End of the Year with two shows

On Monday 24 will be the turn of Modern Singing and Wednesday 26, of Flamenco Singing.

The performances, directed by Ana Fargas, will take place at 20.00 hours at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel.

Estepona City Council informs that the Training Academy for the Promotion of Andalusian Culture El Patio learns to sing, directed by Ana Fargas, will present next June 24 and 26, at 20.00 pm, at the Centro Cultural Padre Manuel, the double show End of Course ‘Divine Songs of Cinema’.

More than 40 students from 5 to 80 years of age will take the stage accompanied by musicians Paco Javier Jimeno (guitar) and David Quirós (piano), in an exciting musical journey through the most emblematic songs in the history of cinema, such as ‘The Godfather’, ‘Volver’, ‘Pocahontas’, ‘Titanic’, ‘Tacones Lejanos’, ‘Ha nacido una estrella’, ‘Sobreviviré’, ‘La boda de mi mejor amigo’, ‘El Guardaespaldas’, ‘El día que nací yo’, ‘Pretty Woman’, ‘Coco’, or ‘Los últimos de Filipinas’, among many others.

They will also remember many film and song artists, such as Marisol, Lola Flores, Rocío Jurado, Juanito Valderrama, Camarón, Rocío Dúrcal, El Dúo Dinámico, or Juanita Reina. And for the children’s category, current songs, such as those of Ana Mena or Aitana, among others.

A fun and fresh show, where students are shown as they are, with a varied repertoire delivered to an audience with one goal: to make them enjoy.

This year, the spectators will be able to enjoy two days of show: Monday 24 in the modality of Modern Singing, and Wednesday 26 in Flamenco Singing.

Collaboration: 5 euros at the box office, from one hour before the start of each show.

The Estepona Flamenco Association ‘El Patio’ was founded in 2012 and is formed by a group of professionals who put their experience and means at the service of those who have some kind of interest in music, either to acquire basic knowledge, or to get started in the professional world.

Its greatest value is based on the training and dedication of its staff, which teaches each student the appropriate methodology, depending on their level, developing cognitive, auditory, phonation and body expression aspects.
