The Arroyo Enmedio sports complex launches a new system that facilitates the reservation and entry to its soccer fields.

Through the Play Football Estepona application, users will be able to quickly and conveniently select the date, time and desired field of play.
The Estepona City Council informs that the Arroyo En Medio sports complex, inaugurated last summer with seven new soccer fields, has launched a new system designed to facilitate users the procedures for the reservation of the pitches, as well as for the access to them.
The concessionaire of the facilities, Football Impact S.L., has launched a mobile application that allows, in a comfortable, easy and intuitive way, to select the field, day and time desired for the reservation. The new App Play Football Estepona. Arroyo Enmedio Sports Center, is available for both Android and iOS, through Google Play and App Store.
Once downloaded the application, and on the main screen, the first time you access must be done as a guest, and then create a user that, in the successive accesses, allows you to enter by logging in. Once inside, the screen will show, for each day, which fields and at what time are free. After selecting the desired option, the screen will open to proceed with the payment by credit card. This will formalize the reservation and the user will receive a confirmation e-mail. It will also be possible to cancel the reservation, 2 hours in advance, from the app through the side button ‘My Account’. The formalized reservation will allow the opening of the gates of the selected field.
Last July Estepona expanded its network of sports facilities with this complex, managed through a municipal concession, which has a total of 7 soccer fields of different dimensions. The existing natural grass 11-a-side soccer field was joined in summer by a 7-a-side soccer field, also of natural grass, in addition to four 5-a-side soccer fields and another 7-a-side soccer field, all of them of artificial grass. The project executed by the concessionaire company for the construction and management of these spaces, Football Impact S.L., has also included fencing, lighting and the installation of stands.
The concessionaire company pays an annual fee to the City Council for the management of the complex. In addition, the Consistory can make use, for the period established in the contract, of these facilities, in addition to organizing municipal events in them.
These new facilities are aimed at the sports practice of residents of Estepona. In addition, the implementation of new soccer fields with synthetic material surface allows to offer a number of hours of play higher than those that would admit the natural grass. In this way, local fans, associations and soccer schools, including summer camps and professional teams in winter ‘stage’ and preseasons, will be able to benefit.
