The Athletics Stadium will host the 2nd Aprona Sports and Recreational Coexistence Day
The event, which will take place next Thursday, March 21, will bring together 240 athletes with intellectual disabilities from all over the province of Malaga and Campo de Gibraltar.
Estepona City Council reports that next Thursday March 21 will be held at the Municipal Athletics Stadium the Second Day of Coexistence Leisure-Sports Aprona, for people with intellectual disabilities. This event is organized by the Foundation for People with Functional Diversity of Estepona, Aprona, with the collaboration of the City Council and the Institute of Secondary Education Monterroso, and includes activities that work motor skills and fitness.
The day will start at 10.00 am and end at 15.00 hours, and will bring together 240 athletes with intellectual disabilities throughout the province of Malaga and the Campo de Gibraltar.
Last year a total of 13 associations participated in the first edition of this day of inclusive coexistence in which the game and sport serve as a connection, and will end with a paella lunch for all attendees.
