The Cine-Club continues the fall season with the screening of the crime thriller ‘Roubaix, une lumière’ at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
It will take place next Thursday, December 12, at 7:00 p.m., with free access.
The Estepona City Council reports that the Cine-Club of the delegation of Culture continues the autumn cycle with the screening of the crime thriller ‘Roubaix, une lumière’, a 2019 French film directed by Arnaud Desplechin, with Roschy Zem, Léa Seydoux, Sara Forestier and Antoine Reinartz, among others.
It will be next Thursday, December 12, at 7 p.m., at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center. It will be screened in the original version in French with Spanish subtitles. In collaboration with the Alliance Française of Malaga.
Synopsis: It is Christmas night in Roubaix. Police chief Daoud makes the umpteenth patrol through the city where he grew up. Stolen cars, altercations… At the barracks, rookie Louis Coterelle tries to gather information about his new job. When he meets Daoud, their first assignment is to investigate the brutal murder of an old woman. They have only two suspects: Claude and Marie, two alcoholic girls who seem to have a romantic relationship with each other.
The autumn cycle will end on Thursday, December 19, at 7 p.m., with the screening, in the original English version, of ‘Wonka’, a film for all audiences, directed by Paul King, which tells the wonderful story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolatier became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.
Admission to the screenings is free until full capacity is reached.
