The City Council celebrates this Friday the Tourist Day to thank visitors for their commitment to Estepona.

The queens and ladies of the Fair and Festivities of Estepona will perform the traditional distribution of carnations in Real and Terraza streets, in Doctor Arce and Las Flores squares and on the promenade.
Estepona City Council reports that this Friday will celebrate the Tourist Day to thank visitors for the bet they make each year for our city.
For this reason, from 11.30 am, the queens and ladies of the Fair and Festivities of Estepona will make the traditional distribution of carnations to tourists as a symbolic gesture of welcome. They will walk through the central streets Real and Terraza, the squares of Las Flores and Doctor Arce and the Paseo Marítimo.
In addition, the Consistory will install a tent next to the Monument to the Tourist, in the area known as ‘El Paseíllo’ (Real Street), where brochures in several languages will be offered to tourists in order to make them aware of the varied cultural, sports and leisure activities offered by Estepona.
As a novelty, this year the supermarket chain of organic products ‘Veritas’ will offer in the tent tastings to tourists of a typical Andalusian product such as gazpacho, as well as portions of seasonal fruit from our area.
