The City Council encourages people under 30 to obtain the European Youth Card in Andalusia
In Andalusia there are currently around 300,000 holders of this card who benefit from offers at regional, national and international level (in more than 40 countries).
The Estepona City Council informs about the benefits and requirements for obtaining the European Youth Card in Andalusia. The municipal delegation of Youth indicates that young people who still do not have it can apply for it in the Provincial Directorates of the Andalusian Youth Institute (IAJ).
In addition, the IAJ has an App application where you can have the Youth Card always available on your cell phone. This digital version allows access to the same discounts and benefits without having to carry the physical card.
In the case of face-to-face procedures, an appointment is required at the corresponding provincial headquarters, either through the Appointment Portal or by phone. Through the Junta’s platform you can access ‘Registration Assistance’, then ‘Request’, ‘Appointment’, ‘Access’ (with digital certificate or electronic ID) and ‘Access by center’, ‘Service’ and indicate the corresponding Provincial Directorate of the IAJ.
The Youth Card is also processed by the managing centers (Town Halls and Youth Information Centers). In Estepona, through previous appointment in the electronic headquarters for an attention carried out on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 14:00 hours, and by means of previous appointment to the telephone 952808385, in the Cultural Center Padre Manuel, from Monday to Friday, in schedule of morning or afternoon, according to shift of work. Applicants must be between 14 and 30 years old (both inclusive).
The European Youth Card program is managed in Andalusia by the Andalusian Youth Institute, attached to the Ministry of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality. To do this you can download the App from your mobile, free of charge, through two links: Android devices (Google Play) and iOS devices (App Store).
In this application of the Andalusian Institute of Youth there is a private area where users can check their digital Youth Card and always carry it on the mobile, avoiding the problems of a physical card, breakage, loss, theft, etc.. Young people, accessing this private area, will receive a code in their email to download their digital card.
