The City Council organizes the third edition of the ‘Angel Festival. Musics of the World’ with the best sound of Italy, United States and Argentina.

El Angel Park will host the performances of the group ‘Il Sono’ and his tribute to ‘Il Divo’, the jazz quartet ‘Joaquín Castellano Jazz Quartet’, and the show ‘Raza Tango’ by Eleonora Rosaminer. Access is free of charge

Estepona City Council informs that El Angel Park will host from August 30 to September 1 a new edition of the Angel Festival ‘World Music’, a free festival where you can enjoy the best music from Italy, United States and Argentina.

On Friday 30, the day of Rome, the festival will be opened by the group ‘Il Sono’, with a Tribute to ‘Il Divo’. The lyrical pop fusion group, formed by Marco Perez De Gracia, David Sanchez Lopez and Jose Javier Olmedo Casares, join their voices and harmonies worked for the musical enjoyment of songs like ‘Return to me’, ‘Carusso’, ‘Nessun Dorma’, ‘Il Mondo’, or ‘Halellujah’.

Saturday 31 will be dedicated to New Orleans. The musician and pianist Joaquín Castellano will perform with his jazz quartet ‘Joaquín Castellano Jazz Quartet’, formed in 2019 with Emilio Big Márquez (double bass), Orestes Bosch (tenor sax) and José Luis Gómez (drums). They will perform American jazz standards, mixing them with Dixie and Ragtime music, typical of the city of New Orleans.

Finally, on Sunday 1, Buenos Aires Day, the festival will close with the show ‘Raza Tango’, with Eleonora Rosaminer, former dancer of the Ballet Nacional Argentino and the Ballet del Teatro Colón, and Adrián Heim, author of the book ‘Sexto Sentido Tango’, director of the shows ‘Raza Tango’, ‘Origen Argento’ and ‘Tango Imágenes’, among others.

During the Festival it will be possible to enjoy the typical gastronomy of each country. The performances will all be at 21.30 hours.
