The emerging Cordovan band Dreadsistance presents its latest EP, ‘Matria’, at the Orquidario Botanical Park, with Andalusia as its flag.
The free concert, part of the event ‘Estepona Vive sus Calles’, will be held next Friday, April 12 from 22.00 hours.
The Estepona City Council informs that the group Dreadsistance will offer a concert next Friday, April 12, at 22.00 hours, in the Botanical Orchid Park, within the event ‘Estepona lives its streets’.
The promising band, characterized by its mix of rap with other multiple genres, will present live its latest EP, ‘Matria’, with which it has managed to cover an impressive universe of styles and emotions, carrying Andalusia by flag.
The group, emerged during the pandemic, but with previous shooting by its members, has come to sound since the release of their first singles on prestigious radio stations like Radio 3 or Canal Fiesta. Selected in the initiative ‘La Música No Para’, promoted by the Diputación de Córdoba, they have won, among others, the first prize in the state contest ‘Rodando por la Igualdad’, organized by Cortoespaña, in the fifth edition of the contest ‘Música Propia’ of Cadena SER, and in the X ‘Dinamomusic’, organized by the delegation of Youth of the City Council of Córdoba. They have also won third prize in the second edition of the ‘Sonas Pop’ contest, organized by the Cultural Association ‘Amigos del Rock-Yo’.
Since then they have not stopped taking their songs to Andalusian stages and have performed at major festivals, such as ‘A Pico y Pala’, in Belmez, or ‘Al Fresco’, in Pozoblanco.
Their EP ‘Matria’ has surprised for its musical mestizaje. With this album they have shared the stage with great artists such as Queralt Lahotz, in the concert series ‘Momentos Alhambra’, or XpresidentX, in the Sala Ambigú Axerquía. The release of other songs, such as ‘Gilipollas’, has also stood out for its mixture of styles, which is the band’s own hallmark.
This year they have performed in the program ‘Al Sur Conciertos’ of the ATV Channel on Canal Sur, where they had the opportunity to show their repertoire in a live concert, and they have just recently released a new single, ‘Sintigo’, “a ballad for the soul” with which the band has amazed their followers.
