The Estepona author Antonio Mena presents his poetry book ‘Te robé un beso bajo la lluvia’ at Casa de Las Tejerinas

The Estepona City Council informs that next Wednesday, April 10, at 18.00 hours, will take place in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de Las Flores, the presentation of the poetry book ‘Te robé un beso bajo la lluvia’, by the Estepona author Antonio Mena.
Published with ‘Sakana Ediciones’, ‘Te robé un beso bajo la lluvia’ is the fourth publication, and first collection of poems, the author dedicated to women and equality.
Antonio Mena González was born in October 1961 in Estepona (Málaga). His first stage of schooling was at the Alvarez Academy and at the Juan XXIII School, and later he completed his Secondary Education and Higher Baccalaureate at the Monterroso Institute. He studied law for several years at the University of Malaga.
His professional career has always been linked to journalism; he worked for three years at Antena 3 Radio Costa del Sol, one year at Radio Nacional de España in Marbella, collaborated with the Diario Área del Campo de Gibraltar, Diario Sur de Málaga, Televisión por Cable Estepona and, for 25 years, he has been Head of the Sports Editorial Department at Radio Televisión Estepona. He is currently assigned to the Town Planning Department of the Town Hall.
He has written ‘Relatos Cortos: Entre el Infierno y la Esperanza’, composed of stories that combine reality and fiction, published in 2021; and ‘Las Siete Torres y otros relatos’, in the same line of the previous one, published in 2023, both with the seal of Editorial Punto Rojo Libros of Seville. In 2023 he also published ‘Reflexiones para gritar en silencio sin herir el alma’ and the poetry book ‘Te robé un beso bajo la lluvia’, both with Ediciones Sakana.
