The Municipal Chess School is integrated in January in the Municipal Sports Schools Program.
Classes will start next Monday, January 8, 2024.
Estepona City Council informs that the Municipal Chess School will become part, from January, of the Municipal Sports Schools Program (EDM), coordinated by the Sports Delegation, and whose classes will start on Monday, January 8, 2024.
The schedule of classes of the EDM Chess will be as follows:
In Estepona, at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center:
Senior Category: Fridays, from 11.00 am to 1.30 pm.
U8 Category: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 16.30 to 17.30 hours.
Under 10 Category: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Under 12-14-16 Category: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
In Cancelada, in the Multipurpose Building of the Local Police:
Single Category: Wednesday, from 17.00 to 19.00 hours.
Those interested can now formalize the registration through the page reservapista.estepona.es, after contacting the delegation of Sports, on the phone 952802444, where they will be provided with a key for this and other procedures (rentals, renewal, pre-registration, etc.).
Likewise, they may request the letter of payment and make a deposit in the collaborating bank (La Caixa), before the 1st of each month to be paid; public prices for chess courses are 2 € / month for courses of 1 hour per week, and 5 € / month for courses of 4 hours per week.
In the same way, they can apply in person at the Town Hall, in Avda. Juan Carlos I, post No. 9, after collecting the ticket of attention, and make the payment by credit card; the days of in-person attention will be from Tuesday 26 to Friday December 29, from 10:00 to 12:30 hours.
