The musical ‘Amor en los 80: La Chica de Ayer, El Espectáculo’ (Love in the 80s: Yesterday’s Girl, The Show) comes to the Felipe VI Auditorium

The City of Estepona reports that next Friday, October 25, at 20.00 hours, will arrive at the Felipe VI Auditorium the musical ‘Love in the 80s: The Girl of Yesterday, The Show’, a nostalgic trip to the 80s with a beautiful love story between a singer and a student, who will immerse the viewer in a whirlwind of laughter, melancholy, heartbreak and fun.

The councilor attached to the delegation of Culture and Festivals, Macarena Diánez, was today in charge of presenting this event and encouraged not to miss a show that allows you to relive a whole decade of music.

Synopsis: ‘Amor en los 80: La Chica de Ayer, el Espectáculo’ transports viewers to the vibrant music scene of the 80s in Spain, immersing them in the story of Mikel, the charismatic singer of a Spanish pop group, ‘Los Mikis’, struggling to stay afloat in a golden but difficult time. With few concerts and poorly paid gigs at the Rayo bar, the Mikis face hard times.

The plot takes an exciting turn with the arrival of Sara, a college student who has just moved to town. Making new friends, Sara is invited to a concert by ‘Los Mikis’ at the Rayo’s bar. On stage, between melodic chords and dim lights, Mikel notices Sara, who experiences an instant crush. Sara will be a source of inspiration to compose new songs.

Amor en los 80: La Chica de Ayer, el Espectáculo’ tells this beautiful love story accompanied by the iconic music of the era. Hits such as ‘Insurrección’, ‘Mescalina’, ‘No controles’, ‘Mediterráneo’, ‘Aquí no hay playa’ and, of course, the classic ‘La Chica de Ayer’ by Nacha Pop, immerse the viewer in a memory of youth.
