The registration period for the VIII Swimming Crossing Virgen del Carmen Coronada is open.

This solidarity event will be held on Sunday, July 21 at La Rada beach.

The registration period, limited to 300 participants, will remain open until July 19 at 5 p.m. at dorsalchip.es.

The Estepona City Council informs that the registration period is open to participate in the eighth edition of the Virgen del Carmen Coronada Swimming Crossing, to be held next Sunday, July 21, from 11.00 am, on the beach of La Rada, in front of the square of the ABC Newspaper.

This non-profit crossing is organized by the Estepona CNE Swimming Club, with the collaboration of the Estepona City Council, and maintains its objective of promoting swimming and especially motivate neighbors to participate in their activities both popular and federative. It will be a new opportunity to bring together fans of open water swimming, as in past editions, come from different parts of Spain and Europe, as it is consolidated in the annual calendar of crossings.

The test continues to have solidarity, in collaboration with the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Carmen Coronada, so participants are asked to contribute, the day of the test, 1 kilo of non-perishable food for Caritas Parish of Carmen.

For this edition has been scheduled a children’s race with two distances: a short 300 meters for children born between 2013 and 2016 inclusive, and another 600 meters for swimmers born between 2010 and 2013, inclusive.

The adult race will also have two distances: one of 1,400 meters for swimmers born since 2010, inclusive; and another of 2,600 meters for swimmers born since 2009, inclusive.

To register, limited to 300 participants, those interested can access the website of the professional timing company www.dorsalchip.es, where all the personal data of each swimmer will be provided and where the rules of the event can also be consulted. The deadline will remain open until July 19 at 5:00 pm.
