The Russian Ballet School presents the fairy tale ‘The Nutcracker’ in the Felipe VI Auditorium
Next Sunday, December 10, starting at 6:00 p.m.
The Estepona City Council informs that the Russian Ballet School will return to the Felipe VI Auditorium next Sunday, December 10, at 6:00 pm, with ‘The Nutcracker’, one of the most universal works of classical ballet.
This year, the performance will feature the participation of stars of the Romanian National Opera and students of the Russian Ballet School.
The ballet’s libretto is an adaptation of Hoffman’s tale, a timeless classic. The colorful scenery and costumes, the magic of its story, its imaginative characters and the universal music of Tchaikovsky, have turned ‘The Nutcracker’ into a Christmas classic, ideal for both children and adults. A show where the little dancers from 4 to 16 years old show the audience a lively representation of Tchaikovsky’s famous ballet.

‘The School of Russian Ballet’ is located in Casa Rusia, in San Pedro Alcántara, a space for art, culture and other services for the Russian community on the Costa del Sol, and was founded by Regina Zarhina in 2012, in Marbella.
Students of the Russian Ballet School have not only participated in prestigious international ballet competitions in Belgium, France, Italy, USA, but have also won the prizes of champions and finalists. Currently, the School has students of different ages and nationalities. Among others, they have won several prizes in competitions and scholarships to study in famous ballet academies.
