Through this initiative, the Provincial Council of Málaga, Málaga Más Viva and the Fundación Aula del Mar Mediterráneo, in collaboration with the City Council of Estepona, want to convey to the public, the need to conserve and restore marine and coastal ecosystems in the face of climate change.

Key actions to ensure our quality of life, our survival and that of all species, and essential to mitigate the effects of climate change.

The ‘Restauramar’ exhibition contains extensive descriptive panels of the seabed, models, informative material and other elements that will enrich the public’s knowledge of the marine environment, and will be open to the public from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00 hours. The initiative will consist of a program of daily participatory activities, guided by environmental educators, and will be divided into three thematic areas: ‘Biodiversity in the coast and marine environment of the province of Malaga’, ‘Challenges facing the seas and oceans’, and ‘Good practices that care for the sea’.
