13 local drivers will participate this weekend in the Subida a Peñas Blancas, which will bring together the national elite of mountain motor racing.

The test is also valid for the Andalusian Championship and the Andalusian Car-Cross Cup, and scoring for the Diputación de Málaga Cup. The organization has indicated that this year has reached a record number of participants with the registration of 114 pilots from all over the country.

The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, today held a meeting with the 13 local drivers participating this weekend in the XVII edition of the Subida de Campeones Estepona-Peñas Blancas 2026.

The test is part of the calendar of the Championship of Spain and Andalusia Mountain, Subida de Campeones (category to which compete the champions of each autonomous community), and Cup of the Provincial Council of Malaga.

The alderman has highlighted the number of drivers from Estepona participating in this competition that will bring together, once again, the elite of mountain motoring. The mayor has wished them success for this motor racing event, which is one of the most demanding and expected of the national scene.
