Claudia is an actress who is doing well. Very well. However, she feels that she has not yet reached that great character that could make her great. Until one day luck knocks on her door: one of the greatest is going to direct what will be her last film and the main character has been written with her in mind. However, the character has a disability and before making a decision, the director wants to see her.

To prepare for the test, he comes up with an idea: to resume his relationship with Gloria -his cousin with Down syndrome-. They grew up together, but Claudia disappeared overnight to fulfill her dream and she thinks Gloria hates her for it. It sounds crazy to her manager, but Claudia asks her to trust. Something tells her it has to be this way.

Claudia is reunited with Gloria after ten years of absence and her fears are instantly diluted. Her cousin welcomes her with open arms. Gloria plays in the theater group at her neighborhood’s leisure center with her roommates, Alberto and Emilio, who dream that someone will discover the talent they think they have and take them out of their routine lives. The group is led by Juan, who also has a disability and knows very well what fame and its consequences are: at one time he could have been a star. But one day, Juan left everything without explanation and returned to his neighborhood. Since then, and for others, Juan is not the same. John is suspicious of Claudia. He senses why she has returned and does not want Gloria to suffer.

The group is rehearsing a new play, a very particular version of the House of Bernarda Alba, and Claudia offers to act with them, and pretend that she has a disability as well. Juan reluctantly accepts, compelled by Gloria’s and the group’s enthusiasm.

For Claudia, all the pieces seem to fit. However, not everything will be so simple. Claudia will enter a world far removed from the superficiality of the capital, where only honesty counts. The rehearsals of the play, her unresolved past with Gloria, Juan turned into a mirror of her own existence, the pressures of her agent and the test that can mark her destiny, will make Claudia have to rethink what true success in life is.
