City Council obtains grant for training courses for young people

The program, financed by the European Social Fund Plus and promoted by the INCYDE Foundation, will benefit at least 75 young people between July and December 2026.

The City Council of Estepona informs that it has received a grant under the call for Youth Entrepreneurship Itineraries, promoted by the INCYDE Foundation (an organization linked to the Chambers of Commerce that promotes training and entrepreneurship) and financed through the European Social Fund Plus (ESF +), the main instrument of the European Union to support employment, education and social inclusion.

This aid will enable the development of various training actions aimed at improving the employability of the young population of the municipality.

The project has a total budget of 200,000 euros, of which 170,000 euros are co-financed by the ESF+. The initiative will enable at least 75 young people between the ages of 16 and 29 to be served during the period from July to December 2026.

Within the framework of this grant, the Consistory will develop courses in different professional areas with high demand in the labor market. Specifically, training will be provided in basic restaurant and bar operations, restaurant services, bar and cafeteria services, social and health care for dependent people in social institutions and health transport.

With this action, the City Council of Estepona reinforces its commitment to promoting youth employment, providing access to qualified training in strategic sectors and contributing to the economic and social development of the municipality.
