Estepona City Council opens the deadline for submission of nominations for the Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Festivities 2026

The registration period will remain open from April 6 to May 1, 2026, inclusive. The election and coronation of the Cortejo will take place on May 29, at 8:00 p.m., at the Plaza del Ajedrez.

The City Council of Estepona reports that on April 6 opens the deadline for submission of nominations for Queens and Ladies of the Fair and Festivities 2026, whose celebration will take place from 7 to 12 July.

As stated in the rules, those interested must be registered in Estepona and provide a photocopy of the national identity card for the Youth category, as well as contact telephone. Minors who do not have ID must submit a photocopy of the registration form in the Family Book, and complete the authorization document signed by both parents and / or legal guardians, available on the bulletin board of the website of the City Council.

Two categories have been announced; Children, in which girls from 7 to 11 years old can participate; and Youth, for young people from 17 to 23 years old.

May not participate in this contest those who have been elected Queens in previous years, in the same category in which they wish to compete, or candidates who have been elected Queens or Ladies of other Popular Festivals of Estepona this year, as the Festivities of San Isidro Labrador or the Virgen del Carmen.

The Councilor for Festivities, Macarena Diánez, has announced that the election and coronation of the procession of the Fair and Festivities, which will consist of Queen and four ladies in each category, Children and Youth, will be held on Friday, May 29, at 20:00 pm, in the Plaza del Ajedrez. The Children’s aspirants will be chosen by drawing lots.

The rules are available on the Notice Board of the Town Hall. Applications for registration may be made in person or by Electronic Headquarters, in the General Register of the City Council, addressed to the municipal delegation of Festivals, from 6 to May 1, 2026, inclusive.
