Estepona will be one of the venues of the first phase of the Andalusian Veterans League (+40) Table Tennis 2025/2026
The best blades of 7 teams of 1st division of Malaga and Cadiz will meet on March 14 and 15 at the Polideportivo El Carmen, headquarters of the Estepona Table Tennis Club. The schedule of the matches will be from 10:00 to 21:00 hours on Saturday, and on Sunday, from 10:00 to 21:00 hours.
The Estepona City Council reports that the town will be the next 14 and 15 March, one of the three venues of the first phase of the First Division League Veterans (+40) of Andalusia Table Tennis (the other two concentrations will be held in Cordoba capital and La Zubia, Granada).
In the Polidepotivo El Carmen will gather many of the best Andalusian paddlers, since it is the highest category. The schedule of the matches will be from 10:00 to 21:00 hours on Saturday, and on Sunday, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours.
The maximum category of veterans of Andalusia is made up of 21 teams distributed in three groups. The 7 teams participating in the competition, belonging to Group 2, come from the provinces of Cadiz and Malaga, and will seek in Estepona one of the two places to play the second phase, on 23 and 24 May, to fight for the title of champion, while the other 5 teams will fight on those same days to avoid relegation to the second category.
The teams participating in this concentration are the following: CTM Estepona, Bahía de Cádiz, Chema Jerez Veteranos, CTM El Palo, CTM Portuense (from El Puerto de Santamaría), and two teams from Málaga capital: Club Málaga-Fundación Caja Rural de Granada and Club Málaga-Info Micro Teatinos.
