Estepona will host a new edition of the ‘Al Ándalus Basket CUP’26’ basketball training tournament at Easter.
The tournament will be held from March 30 to April 1 at the El Carmen and La Lobilla indoor sports facilities.
The Estepona City Council informs that the town will become from March 30 to April 1, the epicenter of basketball base with the celebration of the training tournament ‘Al Ándalus Basket CUP Easter Edition, Estepona 2026’.
This sporting event will take place in the indoor sports centers El Carmen, La Lobilla and the EDUFY pavilion in Sabinillas, with the participation of 600 athletes from different parts of Andalusia and Tenerife, which will be housed in Hotel Ona Valle Romano.
The tournament will bring together players from 8 categories of training, 4 male and 4 female: fry, child, cadet and junior, aged between 11 and 18 years, in an event that combines competition, coexistence and passion for basketball.
The games have been scheduled with the following schedule: Monday 30 will be played in four time slots, morning and afternoon, from 09:00 to 21:00 hours. Matches on Tuesday 31 and Wednesday 1 will start from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
The trophy ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 1, after the last matches of the tournament, at around 15:00 hours.
