Francisco Reyero will offer in Estepona the conference "Spain in the United States before the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence".

The Estepona Town Hall has organized a conference to be given by the renowned journalist and writer Francisco Reyero, who will present his work entitled Spain in the United States before the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This activity will allow to deepen the historical influence of Spain in the formation of the United States.
The meeting will take place on Friday, November 28, at 8:00 p.m., at the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center, with free admission until full capacity is reached.
During his speech, Reyero will address the relationship between Spain and the United States in the context of American independence, as well as the decisive Spanish support for the process that took place in 1776. The author will highlight the diplomatic, economic and military role played by the Spanish Crown under King Carlos III. The journalist will provide historical keys that help to understand the global dimension of that event that ended with the birth of the United States.
