Granada-born Juan Miguel Hidalgo will offer a piano concert at the Mirador del Carmen

The musical event will take place on February 26 at 8:00 p.m., with free admission upon registration.
The Estepona City Council reports that the pianist Juan Miguel Hidalgo will offer a concert entitled ‘La Taiga’ on February 26 at 8 pm in the concert hall of the Mirador del Carmen tower.
The recital, with free admission, will allow the public to enjoy the talent and interpretive sensitivity of this renowned pianist who stands out for his careful technique and his ability to move through a repertoire that covers great classical composers to more contemporary pieces. The program of ‘La Taiga’ will include works by Sergei Rachmaninov, Frederic Mompou and Sergei Prokofiev, along with his own compositions.
The Granada-born artist, born into a family of pianists, oriented his musical training from the age of 18 towards a process of personal and independent study, guided by an artistic search that transcends the academic environment. His work is nourished by the deep study of Sergei Rachmaninov, Frederic Mompou, Sergei Prokofiev and Johann Sebastian Bach, and is projected in his own compositions of marked aesthetic identity, reflecting a genuine voice and a deeply personal conception of the musical fact.
Admission will be free, subject to registration by sending an email to bcc@estepona.es, as seating is limited.
With this initiative, the Consistory continues to strengthen the cultural programming of the municipality and offering quality musical proposals in an emblematic space such as the Library of Contemporary Cultures in the Mirador del Carmen.
