San Lorenzo Avenue and the subway parking lot of the City Hall opened to traffic

Estepona City Council reports that is now open to traffic the stretch of Avenida San Lorenzo, from Africa Street to Prolongación Cristo Rey street, affected by the works that have involved the complete renovation of sewerage and supply networks, as well as the complete remodeling of this road, which has become a two-way traffic.

These works that have been executed by the concessionaire of the water service, Hidralia, through the improvement fee, have covered an approximate area of about 2,800 square meters (both road and sidewalk). The work has consisted in the adaptation of this street to the new demands of flow and pressure, for it have been replaced the collectors, both transport and distribution of water and sanitation. The width of the sidewalk on the east side has also been standardized and all the services affected by the work have been renewed. Likewise, the road has been renewed with new pavement and sidewalks, in line with the surrounding roads.

Also, the parking lot located in the basement of the City Hall building, which had been affected by this work, has been opened to the public. Therefore, users can now use this parking lot, which has a capacity for 131 vehicles and is part of the municipal parking network with a cost of 1 euro per day for drivers.
