The City Council carries out work to clean up Los Pedregales Park on the occasion of the San Isidro Labrador pilgrimage.

Work is being carried out on the road leading to the park, as well as on the interior roads, painting the hermitage, and improving the bathrooms and kitchen areas. The parking area next to the park has also been improved.

The Estepona City Council reports that on the occasion of the celebration, on May 10, the pilgrimage of San Isidro Labrador, are being carried out grooming work in the Parque de los Pedregales.

The work is consisting of clearing both sides of the road leading to the park, which represent a total of 12 kilometers where the pilgrimage takes place. Likewise, work has been carried out on the interior roads, where, in addition to clearing brush and undergrowth, work has been carried out on the repair of potholes with the addition of gravel and subsequent regulation and compaction.

The trees have also been pruned, the bathrooms and kitchen areas have been improved and the barbecues have been sealed due to the risk of fire.

The hermitage, located in the park, has been completely repainted and some damage has been repaired. In addition, electrical and plumbing repairs have been carried out and the street furniture has been refurbished.

The parking area adjacent to the park, which has more than 300 parking spaces, has also been cleared and cleaned up.

Thus, the Parque de los Pedregales will be ready and in perfect condition for the celebration of the pilgrimage in honor of the Patron Saint of Estepona, San Isidro Labrador.
