The City Council completes the comprehensive remodeling of Las Musas and Olimpo squares

The works consisted of pavement conditioning, replacement of water pipes, painting, installation of ornamental fountains and reform of planters, among other actions.
The City Council of Estepona reports that have completed the work of comprehensive remodeling of the squares Las Musas and Olimpo, located in the neighborhood of Huerta Nueva.
The deputy mayor of the area of Services and External Control, Blas Ruzafa, explained that the actions in both public spaces have focused on the conditioning of the pavement, the replacement and improvement of water pipes, the painting of the squares and the reform of gardening areas with the planting of specimens of different species.
In addition, new ornamental fountains have been built in both squares and the existing sculptures have been restored by local artist Toby Govan. Another of the actions carried out has been the installation of ornamental lighting at night to beautify these spaces of Huerta Nueva.
Ruzafa pointed out that all existing parking spaces and those for people with disabilities have also been asphalted and painted. In addition, bumpers have been installed in these parking spaces to prevent vehicles from invading the sidewalks.
To facilitate the mobility of pedestrians and people with reduced mobility, new accesses have been created to both parking spaces and the sidewalks have been widened.
