The City Council launches the program ‘Integral Projects for Labor Market Insertion’.

This initiative, which offers personalized itineraries that combine professional orientation, specialized training and psychosocial support, has the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía and the Servicio Público de Empleo Estatal (SEPE).

The Estepona City Council informs that it has launched the program ‘Integral Projects for Job Placement’, designed to improve employability and facilitate access to the labor market for a priority group: long-term unemployed people over 52 years old.

Unlike traditional training courses, these Integral Projects offer an individualized approach and a complete accompaniment throughout the entire job search process. Thus, the itinerary for each participant includes:

– Initial diagnosis and job orientation: Detailed identification of profiles, competencies and professional goals.

– Education and training: Acquisition of new technical skills or professional recycling adapted to current market demands.

– Job search training: Tools and techniques or professional recycling adapted to current market demands.

– Labor intermediation: Direct connection with local companies looking for specific profiles.

– Psychosocial support. Attention and advice to manage emotional and motivational aspects related to unemployment.

– Follow-up and accompaniment: Continuous support even after hiring to ensure the adaptation and sustainability of employment.

To be eligible to participate, you must be over 52 years of age, be unemployed and registered with the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE) for a minimum period of one year within the last 18 months. This initiative has the collaboration of the Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia and the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy through the SEPE.
