The City Council organizes a free visit to the Caminito del Rey for young people aged 18 and over

It will be held on December 13 and registrations can be made in person at the Town Hall on November 26 and 27 from 12:00 to 14:00 or by mail at animacion@estepona.es and juventud@estepona.es.

Estepona Town Hall informs that on December 13 it has organized a free day to visit and get to know closely the Caminito del Rey (the King's Little Path). This path, located in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, starts in the municipality of Ardales, crosses the municipality of Antequera and ends in El Chorro (Álora).

The councilor attached to the delegation of Youth, Julia Simón, said that this visit is an opportunity to enjoy this spectacular route and the breathtaking views offered by this jewel of nature. She also commented that "it is a perfect plan, in which adventure and nature will be very present".

Also, the municipal responsible has informed that it will be from 3 to 4 hours of travel along this aerial walkway attached to the rock of the gorge, more than 3 kilometers, to which must be added the 4.8 kilometers of access. It also has stretches of width of just one meter, walls that become vertical and suspended over the river up to 105 meters.

Also, the mayor explained that the activity is free, including entrance and transport, and is aimed at people from 18 years, although preference will be given to young people.

Registrations can be made in person at the facilities of the City Council on 26 and 27 November from 12.00 to 14.00 hours, or in the mail animacion@estepona.es and juventud@estepona.es, will provide a pre-registration form to be delivered duly completed.
