The City Council presents the official T-shirt of the XIII Urban Race 10 KM, one of the most popular in Andalusia.

It will be held on May 3 and registrations are open until April 29 at www.dorsalchip.es, although they can also be made in person at Uniformes Estepona.
This event will be a charity event and the proceeds from the Junior Race will be donated to the Alejandro Navarro Sportsman Association.
In this competition there will be a stand to register for the first marathon in the history of Estepona, which will take place on October 11.
The Estepona City Council today presented the official T-shirt that will be worn by the participants of the XIII Urban Race 10 KM ‘Trofeo Clínica Dental Kaléa’, to be held on May 3.
The mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, stressed that this is one of the most important sporting events in the city and one of the most popular in Andalusia for the uniqueness of its route and the good atmosphere generated among participants. He also announced that on the occasion of this competition, that day will be installed a stand to register for the first marathon in the history of Estepona, to be held on October 11.
Also present at the event were the councilor attached to the Sports delegation, Luis Gil; the president of the Estepona Athletics Club, Miguel de los Santos; the director of the race, José Juárez; the CEO and the director of the Kaléa Dental Clinic, Claudio Álvarez Gómez and Inmaculada Marín Santiago; the representatives of Clínica Vithas Estepona, Noelia Trauca and Roksolana Pastushak, the director of Inmobiliaria Bazán, Lorenzo Bazán; the representative of Centro Deportivo y Pádel Las Mesas, Agustín Montes; the speaker Pepe World, and on behalf of the Association Alejandro Navarro and Ubuntu was Alejandro Navarro. All of them organizers, sponsors and collaborators in this sporting event.
The official T-shirt, which this year will be sleeveless, is made of a technical fabric and has models for men and women. The design is inspired by the light and color of spring in Estepona, so it has been made with vibrant and colorful colors.
As for the Runner’s Bag, it will include a sleeveless T-shirt, commemorative mug, backpack and a medal, for those registered in the 10 and 5 km Absolute Races; and a short-sleeved T-shirt, dental kit, backpack and medal, for the Junior Races.
As in every edition, this sporting event will have a charitable character, so that the proceeds from the Junior Races will be donated to the Alejandro Navarro Sportsman Association. Also, participants in these categories will deliver 1 kilo of non-perishable food that will be donated to the Comedor Social Emaús of Estepona.
The fee for the Junior Race will be 5 euros, in addition to the delivery of 1 kilo of non-perishable food, and registrations can be made until 14:00 hours on April 29. In case there are free places on the day of the race, registration will cost 10 euros, and can be made in the tent set up in the starting area, until 09:30 am, half an hour before the start of the first race.
For the Absolute Race (10 km and 5 km), registration is priced at 15 euros if it is made until April 12 at 23.59 hours; 18 euros if it is formalized from 13 to 26 April at 14:00 hours; and 20 euros if it is made from 27 to 29 April at 14:00 hours. On the day of the race, Sunday, May 3, there will be no registration.
The schedules, categories and distances, are as follows:
Junior Race:
– 09:00 hours ‘U-12, U-14 and U-16’ (1,500 m).
– 09:20 hours ‘U-10’ (400 m)
– 09:30 hours ‘U-8’ (300 m)
10 km race and 5 km race
– 10:00 a.m.: Groups U-18 and upwards (10,000 m) and U-14 and upwards (5,000 m).
