The Esteponero author Salvador Gómez Mena presents his new book of poems, ‘El frío de sus ojos’, at the Casa de Las Tejerinas.

The literary presentation will take place next Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m., with free access until full capacity is reached, and its purpose is to raise funds, which will go entirely to benefit the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Estepona.
Estepona City Council informs that next Thursday, April 16, at 18:30 pm, will take place in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de Las Flores, the presentation of the poetry book ‘El frío de sus ojos’ by the Estepona author Salvador Gómez Mena.
The literary presentation, with free admission until full capacity, will aim to raise funds, which will go to the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Estepona.
Salvador Gómez Mena was born in Estepona in 1970. He comes from a humble family of fishermen. From his parents (Antonio Gómez and Salvi Mena) he assimilated education; respect, kindness, calmness and a long etc. Father of two daughters, Alba and Nydia, he is proud to have been born in the same town of Estepona.
After finishing his primary studies at the Victor de la Serna Public School, it took him twenty years to develop the desire to write and tell stories. His first works came from poetry, with “Corazones del Alba”, followed by the first novel “Marbas y el libro de la luz”, to continue with the poetry books “El sueño de los peces” and “Vientos de amor y cenizas”. Then, with each passing year, he was incorporating in his literary C.V., different works and styles. He collaborated with the charity poetry book “Lírica Navidad” whose money was sent to the needy and damaged in the war in Ukraine, and all the benefits of his work “La lluvia descalza” are destined to the Vicente Ferrer Foundation.
