The Gran Slam K-9 Costa del Sol returns to Estepona in its ‘El Origen’ edition, with the best K-1, Boxing and MMA fights.

Several of the most outstanding fighters on the international scene will take part in this competition to be held on February 21 at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos.

The councilman attached to the delegation of Sports, Luis Gil, and the president of the K-9 Club Estepona, Manuel Postigo, today presented the Grand Slam Costa del Sol Kick Boxing ‘The Origin’, to be held this Saturday, February 22 at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos El Ayuntamiento de Estepona. This event, organized by the K-9 Estepona Club, in collaboration with the Consistory, promises epic fights, returning the essence to the real fights after previous editions.

The municipal responsible has stated that this competition is very successful in each of its editions, “for this reason and the level of the participants has established itself as a benchmark in contact sports. The Grand Slam K-9 Costa del Sol “The Origin” is a sports competition of K-1, Kick Boxing, Muay Thai and Boxing, which this year includes the MMA modality, given the rise of this sport, in which local athletes will participate.

For his part, the president of the Club K-9 Estepona has reported that this event will take place in several passes, the Amateur Gala prior K-1 Muay Thai, at 16:30 hours, so that they can participate minor athletes from local clubs Kick Boxing; Boxing Block, from 18:00 hours, with real fights where each round will live a real battle; and the Gala Professional K-1 and MMA, which will be at stake 3 professional Andalusian titles, the Title of Spain Professional who will dispute the local athlete Jose Plaza, and the World Slam Series World title, which will dispute the Esteponero Christopher Mena athlete.

This sporting event, as explained Manuel Postigo, with the participation of about 140 athletes from all over Spain, England, Portugal, Ukraine, Hungary, Romania and Morocco, and serves as a promotion for athletes representing the Club K-9 Estepona.

Tickets are available at all partner gyms that you can check on the official Instagram page of Gran Slam K-9 Costa del Sol. The prices will be 30 euros for the bleacher and normal chair and 50 euros for the exclusive area, which is close to the ring. In addition, there will be an area of tables with VIP area with dinner included.
