The prestigious psychiatrist Luis Gutiérrez Rojas will give a conference in Estepona on ‘The keys to good mental health’.

Estepona City Council informs that the prestigious doctor of psychiatry and recognized by the newspaper El Confidencial as one of the 100 best doctors in Spain, Luis Gutiérrez Rojas, will offer in Estepona a conference on ‘The keys to good mental health’. It will take place on Thursday, December 4, from 19.00 pm at the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center, with free admission until full capacity is reached.
The councilor attached to the delegation of Youth, Julia Simon, has highlighted the quality of this conference and has valued the opportunity to attend a conference of this renowned doctor, which will give guidelines on how to integrate various practices in daily life to promote psychological well-being, being self-knowledge the cornerstone of this process.
The municipal responsible has reported that the conference will run for 45 minutes and then will give way to a question and answer session by the attendees. It will be divided into two blocks, the first of which will delve into self-knowledge as a key to achieving good mental health, a process that Luis Gutiérrez will explain as it happens to recognize the virtues and strengths of each and accept the limitations or shortcomings. In addition, to conclude, he will suggest a series of important practical recommendations for mental health, such as fostering healthy social relationships, maintaining an active lifestyle, living in the present and reducing past or future thoughts and getting involved in activities that add value.
Finally, the mayor explained that this conference is part of the program of activities that the City Council has been celebrating during 2025 on the occasion of the Year of Youth. This program has included during this year more than thirty cultural, leisure and sports activities dedicated to young people, with the aim of recognizing the youth population as the backbone of society and creative base of Estepona.
