The Solidarity Circle of Painters arrives at the Casa de Las Tejerinas with an exhibition in which 13 artists collaborate

The inauguration of the pictorial exhibition ‘Combining Art and Solidarity’ will take place this Friday, the 28th, at 6:00 pm, and will be on display until January 12, 2026. A percentage of sales will go to the Red Cross to support projects integrated into their social programs.
The Estepona City Council reports that Room 1 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de Las Flores, will host from this Friday, the 28th, the group exhibition of painting ‘Combining Art and Solidarity’ in which 13 artists from the Circle of Solidarity Painters: Ana Martín, Laura Viqueira, Pilar Herrero, Magdalena Romero, Marinetta, Sergio Morón, Megon, Llilli López, Abel Gómez, Julia Gutiérrez, Teodoro Onrubia, Mercedes Martínez Galisteo and Carmen Trella.
The exhibition consists of a total of 28 works made with different techniques, such as watercolor, oil, acrylic and recycled on canvas, mixed media, collage … 10% of sales generated will be allocated by the Association to the Red Cross, to support projects integrated into their social programs.
The inauguration of the exhibition will take place at 18:00 hours, and can be visited until January 12, 2026, from Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 hours, with free access.
The Círculo de Pintores Solidarios is a non-profit Cultural and Solidarity Association of national scope, based in Madrid. It began its journey in 2016, and has 140 members, among which are painters, photographers and professional and novice sculptors… Among its objectives are to serve as a platform for the development and promotion of associated artists and to achieve the dissemination of art and the promotion of the plastic arts, and to ensure that Art really contributes to improving our cultural and social environment.
Within the program of activities of the Association, it carries out individual, collective and itinerant exhibitions, as well as training programs, visits of artistic and cultural interest, workshops… It currently channels its solidarity collaboration and economic contribution through the Spanish Red Cross and the Philippe Cousteau Foundation “Union of the Oceans”, with whom it maintains collaboration agreements.
Through painting, sculpture and photography and social action activities carried out by the Association, it aims to create a space for reflection on the situations and conditions in which other people live. The aim is to combine art and solidarity in order to generate awareness and social co-responsibility.
