The Subida a Peñas Blancas 2026 will bring together in Estepona the elite of mountain motor racing.

The event, which will take place from April 10 to 12, is also valid for the Andalusian Championship and the Andalusian Car-Cross Cup, and counts towards the Malaga Provincial Cup.

The XVII Subida de Campeones will feature a dozen local drivers.

The City Council of Estepona reports that the town will again be in the elite of mountain motor racing from 10 to 12 April, with the celebration of the XVII edition of the Subida de Campeones Estepona-Peñas Blancas 2026, test calendar of the Championship of Spain and Andalusia Mountain, Subida de Campeones (category to which the champions of each autonomous community compete), and Diputación de Málaga Cup.

The councilman attached to the delegation of Sports, Luis Miguel Gil, today presented the new edition of the traditional Subida a Peñas Blancas, along with the representative of the CD RS Sport, Rafael Arjona, one of the most demanding and expected car races on the national scene.

As last year, it will be valid for the Spanish Championship and the Andalusian Mountain Car-Cross Cup. The ascent to Peñas Blancas is also part of the Copa Diputación de Málaga. All of them take place in the municipality of Estepona.

The Royal Spanish Automobile Federation, through its territorial federation in Andalusia, maintains its confidence in the solid organizational structure of the Estepona event to organize championships of this level, which will mean the possibility of once again having teams of the highest national level in the impressive surroundings of Sierra Bermeja.

It should be noted that Estepona will have the participation of a dozen local drivers in all the races. In this edition, Christian Broberg is the official image of the poster, in a particularly significant year for the driver, who celebrates the 10th anniversary of his debut in the event. A decade after his first participation in 2016, Broberg has established himself as one of the great references of the climb, signing outstanding results and maintaining a constant evolution to be among the most competitive riders on the national scene.

In this 2026 edition, the pilot faces the challenge with a new technical evolution, incorporating the Wolf Mistral, a prototype optimized in safety and aerodynamics, designed to maximize performance in a climb as technical and demanding as Peñas Blancas.

The program of events will run from Friday, April 10 to Sunday, April 12, 2026, according to the national mountain motor racing calendar.

Within this XVII edition of the Subida de Campeones Estepona-Peñas Blancas 2026, the category of Territorial Champions will be disputed exclusively in Estepona, where the champions of the twelve Spanish regional federations will participate.

– 21:00 h. Starting Ceremony Ceremony in which the drivers and their teams will be introduced.

Saturday, April 11th

– 11:30 h. Closing of the MA-8301 road to traffic.

– 12:30 h. Final Safety Inspection

– 13:00 h. Start of Official Training 1

– Then, Start of Official Race 1

– Then, Start of Official Race 2

Sunday, April 12th

– 07:30 h. Closing of the MA-8301 road to traffic.

– 08:30 h. Final Safety Inspection

– 09:00 h. Start of Official Training 2

– Then, Start of Official Race 3

– Then, Start of Official Race 4

– From 14:30 h. Trophy Ceremony at the start area (Los Reales Avenue Roundabout).
