The writer Bárbara Arena will present her book ‘Un adiós’ at the Library of Contemporary Cultures.

The literary event will take place on March 18, and the day before, the author will give the creative writing workshop ‘Out of lethargy, activate the plot’.

The Estepona City Council informs that the writer Bárbara Arena will present her book ‘Un adiós’ on March 18th at 8 pm at the Library of Contemporary Cultures.

During the presentation of what is her first novel, Barbara Arena will share with the audience the keys of the work, her creative process and will dialogue with the public in a close encounter around literature.

As a prelude to this event, on March 17 at 8 p.m., the writer will give the creative writing workshop ‘Salir del letargo, accionar la trama’, aimed at people interested in developing their narrative projects. The workshop will address tools to unblock the creative process, activate dramatic conflicts and strengthen the internal structure of stories, inviting participants to explore new perspectives and expressive resources.

Bárbara Arena was born in Madrid in 1988 and has developed her professional career in the field of communication, working for different agencies and currently as a freelancer. She became known in social networks and currently writes about popular culture for Vogue. With ‘Un adiós’, Arena makes the leap to literary narrative with a love story, that of a family marked by an event that truncates its future and that of the oldest and most powerful Spain.
