The writer Gemma Swan presents in Las Tejerinas the book ‘Horizontes inciertos: Antología de fantasía y ciencia ficción’ (Uncertain Horizons: Fantasy and Science Fiction Anthology).

The event will take place next Friday, April 10, at 6:00 p.m., in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, with free access until full capacity is reached.

The Estepona City Council informs that next Friday, April 10, at 18.00 hours, the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas will host the presentation of the book ‘Horizontes Inciertos’ – Anthology of fantasy and science fiction, with free admission until full capacity.

According to the author, the anthology is focused on travels and exploits… and “the general tone is one of exploration, irony, humor, and a bit of social criticism”. The book consists of a varied selection of stories that will transport the reader to speculative civilizations on distant planets, or not so distant, as well as to worlds where magic abounds. There are stories with ships in distress, necromancers, extraterrestrials, knights, vampires, spaceships, cursed princesses, monsters, robots, fairies, etc.

Gemma Swan was born in Estepona (Málaga) and usually writes fantasy, horror, science fiction and historical fiction stories.

So far, she has spread several stories and micro-stories between the publishers Cazador and Iron Faerie Publishing (Rendezvous), the magazines Exogenesis (Exodus) and Forbidden Planets (Thirteen days), the podcast Cuentos del Bosque Oscuro (Luna del Lobo / Nigromante) and FinweTV (El ocaso de Thal Quang), the newspaper Diario Sur (Cyborgs apáticos / Luna de Sangre) and the web Origen Cuántico; as well as participating in the anthologies ‘Nine Knots’ (The Veil) and ‘Hawthorn & Ash 7: Mistletoe anda Vine’ (Rendezvous). He has also published a selection of short stories (Horizontes inciertos), a novelette set in Japan at the end of the Tokugawa era (Los amantes de Nagano), among other writings.
