Yo sólo quiero irme a Francia' (I Just Want to Go to France), a first-class stage event at the Felipe VI Theater Auditorium, starring María Galiana

The play, an intimate journey through memory and family wounds, is written and directed by actress and director Elisabeth Larena, and will be performed on Saturday, January 17, at 9:00 pm.
Estepona City Council informs that next Saturday, January 17, at 21:00 hours, will arrive at the Felipe VI Auditorium Theater the 'I just want to go to France', a journey to freedom that crosses generations, with a luxury cast headed by Maria Galiana, along with Nieve de Medina, Anna Mayo and Alicia Armenteros.
Yo sólo quiero irme a Francia' is a bitter comedy, where humor serves as a defense against pain and where, sometimes, going to France is not an escape… but an act of freedom. The unusual wake that originates the family reunion of four women and their discovery of an unknown past, highlights the weight of emotional inheritances that are transmitted between generations.
María Galiana returns to play the role of grandmother in this stage proposal written and directed by Alisabeth Larena, actress known for her roles in 'Cuéntame cómo pasó', 'La que se avecina' or 'No matarás' and director of the award-winning documentary 'Actores' and the short film 'A date'.
Synopsis: Inés attends the wake of Pilar, who decides to leave her her house as an inheritance without ever having met her and without telling Leo, her granddaughter.
Together they will discover a past they did not know, opening old family wounds that go back to Pilar's own childhood, during the last months of the Civil War and her youth in the Women's Section.
Tickets are on sale at teatroestepona.com and at the box office, from two hours before the start of the show.
