The City Council offers the creative workshop ‘Andar por casa’ at the Library of Contemporary Cultures for children from 7 to 11 years old.
The free activity will take place on May 24, with prior registration.
Estepona City Council reports that the Library of Contemporary Cultures will host next Saturday May 24, from 10:00 to 13:00 hours, the creative for children aged 7 to 11 years, ‘Walking around the house’.
The workshop, which will be given by Elisa Ogalla and José Fernández, aims to create an imaginative itinerary drawn up by children, who will walk around the eight floors of the Library and personalize it with everyday objects from the house together with surprising elements from daily life.
Attendance at this activity, with limited places, is free of charge, subject to registration at juventud@estepona.es.
Elisa Ogalla is a Montessori school educator and workshop leader. She combines her work with her artistic activity, she belonged to the pUMA collective and has participated with them in readings and performances framed in the Irreconcilables Poetry Festival, the Alcalá Youth Poetry Festival, Autóctonxs del teatro del Soho and Costumbre at the Thyssen Museum.
She is the author of the poetry book Mala Sangre (Letraversal, 2022), and appears in several anthologies, the last one, De qué hablamos cuando hablamos de amor (Cántico, 2023).
José Fernández. Estepona (1998). Professor, poet and workshop leader. He combines his work with his artistic activity and the production of the festival Irreconciliables. He has participated in performances framed in the Festival de Poesía Joven de Alcalá, Autóctonxs at the Soho Theater and Costumbre at the Thyssen Museum, among others.
He belonged to the collective pUMA and appears in the anthologies Voy de cabeza and Mantra (Vicerrectorado de Cultura de la Universidad de Málaga, 2019 and 2020) and De qué hablamos cuando hablamos de amor (Cántico, 2023). Mesa camiya (Letraversal, 2023) is his first collection of poems.
He is recently developing oral poetry workshops as part of his project Subir al pueblo (Going up to the people) in several villages of Andalusia.
