The City Council presents the first solidarity dinner of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Estepona

The event will be held on June 14 at the Mett Hotel Beach Resort and seeks to raise funds to continue offering free services to local patients and families.

The Estepona City Council informs that the Spanish Association Against Cancer in Estepona will celebrate next Friday, June 14, at 20:30 pm, its first Summer Solidarity Dinner. A charity evening that will take place at the exclusive Mett Hotel & Beach Resort Estepona. The aim of this event is to raise funds to maintain the free services that the organization provides to patients and families living with cancer in the town. During the evening, attendees can enjoy a cocktail, live music, raffles and many surprises, in a festive and supportive atmosphere that seeks to bring together the society of Estepona around a common cause: to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Julia Crespo, president of the Local Board of the Association in Estepona, stressed the importance of this event for the local branch. “This dinner is born with great enthusiasm. We want it to be an annual event that symbolizes Estepona’s commitment to our patients and their families. All proceeds raised will allow us to continue offering services such as psychological care, physiotherapy, social support, loan of orthoprosthetic equipment, workshops and emotional support schools. It is a wonderful opportunity to join together and show, once again, that Estepona is a land of solidarity.”

The event was attended by the mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, who wanted to join this solidarity initiative and show his institutional support. The alderman has encouraged citizens to collaborate with this activity because the funds will go to the various services offered by the association in the city.
