La Casa de Las Tejerinas hosts the Art and Sculpture exhibition ‘Arte de Kappa’ by Juan Porras Sánchez

The exhibition will remain on display until July 30, with free access.

Estepona City Council informs that Room 2 of Casa de Las Tejerinas, located in the Plaza de las Flores, hosts an exhibition of sculptures by the artist Juan Porras Sanchez.

The sculptural exhibition ‘Art of Kappa’ consists of 18 works, and can be visited until July 30, Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 20:00 hours, with free access.

Juan Porras Sánchez is a sculptor focused mainly on wood, a material with which he creates pieces that explore form, texture and the connection with nature. His work also includes works in stone and cork, always maintaining an organic and artisanal language.

From his workshop in Ojén, he develops sculptures that combine tradition and contemporary sensibility, always seeking a balance between matter and emotion.

He has taken part in solo and group exhibitions in spaces such as the Museo del Molino, in Ojén, or La Fábrica, in Lanjarón, which has allowed him to project his work to new audiences and consolidate his career within the current art scene.

Today he continues to develop his work with a firm commitment to keep alive the relationship between art and nature, understanding sculpture as a constant dialogue between human beings and their environment.
