José Ruíz Márquez, from Estepona, presents his third cookbook ‘A mi estilo’ at the Casa de las Tejerinas.

The presentation event will take place next Wednesday, December 17, at 6:00 p.m., with free access until full capacity is reached.

The City Council of Estepona informs that the author José Ruíz Márquez will present next Wednesday, December 17, at 18:00 hours, in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, his third cookbook, ‘Recetas caseras fáciles de hacer, tomo III. A mi estilo’, with which he gives continuity to the two books published previously, with the title ‘Recetas caseras sencillas de hacer’ (volumes I and II).

After his first publication, the diary-book ‘Memorias de un esteponero’, published in 2022 by Azur Grupo Editorial, the author, a native of Estepona, presented in October 2023 the book ‘Recetas caseras sencillas de hacer’, in which he compiled the recipes that he himself prepares in his day to day. This culinary book was followed in April last year by the publication of his third book, ‘Recuerdos de un esteponero’, and in December, ‘Pepe’ returned with new recipes.

When he presented his first culinary book, ‘Pepe’ acknowledged that he had never cooked in his life, “I only knew how to work, but due to life circumstances, I had to learn how to make food. I learned that it was only necessary to make food with a lot of affection and love and, in this way, everything turns out better”.

Encouraged by the good reception of his previous publications, José Ruíz Márquez has captured in this new book his particular recipe book ‘A mi estilo’, and his skill in the kitchen, as he had the opportunity to demonstrate in the program ‘Tierra de Sabores’ of Canal Sur TV, with the chef Bosco Benítez, and daily, through Social Networks.
