The Casa de Las Tejerinas hosts an exhibition of paintings by the artist Concha Navarro.
The inauguration of the exhibition will take place next Thursday, August 17, at 6:00 p.m. and can be visited until August 30.
The Estepona City Council informs that Room 2 of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, in the Plaza de las Flores, will host from next Thursday, August 17, at 18:00 hours, an exhibition of paintings by the artist Concha Navarro.
The exhibition consists of a total of 26 paintings, made mainly on canvas, using mixed media and watercolors. It can be visited until August 30, from Tuesday to Friday, from 09:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 09:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 hours. Access is free.
Concha Navarro makes painting her essential food, a way of living and giving meaning to a life full of experiences. The way she expresses herself on the canvas is always from the inside, from the deep feeling that prevents her from being just another brick in the wall. Concha keeps experimenting, she is not satisfied, when she faces a new work she lets her subconscious lead the way, just a planned idea but always modified or evolved by the last feeling, by the last call, by the last thanks to life. She manages well in abstraction, her natural element, but with figurative references, looking for those elements that connect to the earth: trees, volcanoes, clouds, etc….
It would not be possible to understand the artist’s painting without knowing a little of her world, that world full of life, which makes her keep investigating, keep thinking that in every corner of the road there is someone worth knowing and someone who should not be forgotten.
He continues to seek new challenges, new horizons, renewing day by day the deepest desire to discover a new country with new people that allow him to confirm something he already knew before embarking on the journey, that life is to be lived at every moment and the world to be eaten to pieces before it devours you.
Since 2013, he has exhibited his work on almost thirty occasions both individually and collectively, either in various places in Spain and abroad.
