The City Council completes the tribute to the British band Pink Floyd with the screening of the film ‘The Wall’ by Alan Parker and the concert of the group ‘Im-Pulse’ at the Felipe VI Auditorium.
The screening of the film ‘Pink Floyd – The Wall’ will take place on Friday 25, at 21:00 hours, at the Felipe VI Auditorium, with free admission, and the concert of ‘Im-Pulse’, on Saturday 26, at 22:00 hours.
The City Council of Estepona, together with the Unicorn Cultural Association, completes the program of activities to pay tribute to the British band Pink Floyd, on the 50th anniversary of the release of his album “The Back of the Moon”.
Thus, next Friday, August 25, will take place in the Felipe VI Auditorium, the screening of the legendary 1982 film ‘Pink Floyd – The Wall’, directed by Alan Parker, based on the Pink Floyd album, The Wall (1979). The singer Pink, tired of everything that surrounds his profession, ends up taking refuge in drugs to break the wall that he himself has created around him.
Admission to see this film will be free, until full capacity is reached.
Also, the Felipe VI Auditorium will host on Saturday, August 26, at 22:00 pm, the tribute concert with the group Im-Pulse – Tribute Pink Floyd Live Show,
Tickets for this concert, 20 € + booking fee, are on sale at www.tafestepona.com, and at the box office Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 20:00 hours, and from two hours before the start of the show, until full capacity.
It should be recalled that until August 27 will remain in the Felipe VI Auditorium the Pink Floyd exhibition “Welcome to the Machine”. The exhibition consists of musical and bibliographic material and curiosities about the British band, and can be visited during the Auditorium’s box office hours, Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours, and on show days, from two hours before the start of the show.
