Results of the Municipal Sports Schools of Estepona 2023/2024
The season of activities and disciplines will run until June 12, 2024.
The City Council of Estepona informs that about the results of the various tests developed by the Municipal Sports Schools of Football, Basketball and Handball.
EDM Football: Saturday was held the 2nd day of the educational soccer league organized by Diputación de Málaga, in which the teams of the Municipal School of Football participate. The matches were held at the Athletics Stadium, and the results were:
Prebenj. 0 – Cártama 8
Benjam. 2 – Cártama 1
Alevín. 5 – Cártama 2
Next Saturday, the EDM Football will travel to the neighboring town of Benahavís, with the four categories.
EDM Basketball (managed by the 24 Hours Sports Foundation): yesterday Sunday played its first day of the Educational League of the Diputación de Málaga in the Pavilion of La Lobilla, against the Municipal School of Ronda.
The School participated with two categories with the following results:
Mini: EMB. Estepona – 22 EMB. Ronda – 30
Infantil: (1 Match) EMB. Estepona – 32 EMB. Ronda – 39
(2 Match) EMB. Estepona – 22 EMB. Ronda – 45
EDM Handball: on Sunday, the students of the EDM Handball, categories benjamín, alevín and infantile, traveled to Frigiliana to play a match of the league of promotion of handball, in which participated the teams of Manilva, Rincón de la Victoria and Torre del Mar.
As for the EDM of Seniors, tomorrow Tuesday, day 21, a representation of 55 students of the groups of physical activity for seniors promoted by the municipal delegation of Sports, will attend the ‘Meeting of physical activity for seniors’ organized by the Sports area of the Provincial Council of Malaga, and to be held in the neighboring town of Manilva. To this meeting, in addition to Estepona and Manilva as organizer, will attend
municipalities such as Algatocín, Istán, Jubrique, Genalguacil and Benarrabá. Estepona hosted the Provincial Meeting of Physical Activity for Seniors in 2013.
Finally, the EDM of Golf (La Dalena groups) will celebrate on Sunday 26, the Closing Tournament of the 3rd course of EDM of Golf of La Dalena (season 2023), which will convene the half hundred students who started the course last September. The Tournament will take place at the facilities of the El Campanario Golf Club from 9:30 am, and will be coordinated by staff of the Estebbuna Golf Club.
