The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host the presentation of the book ‘Caprichos de la luz’ by the Malaga journalist Miguel Tapia Millán.
The literary presentation will take place on Thursday 18, at 19.00 hours, with free access. The event will be conducted by the poet Antonio Ríos.
The City Council of Estepona informs that next Thursday, January 18, at 19.00 hours, will take place the presentation of the poetry book ‘Caprichos de la luz’ by the Malaga journalist Miguel Tapia Millán.
In this book published by Cuadranta publishing house, the writer proposes a reflection on love from multiple points of view. The event, to be held in the Alfonso Gil Alfonso Hall of the Casa de Las Tejerinas, will be conducted by the poet Antonio Ríos.
Miguel Tapia Millán (Málaga, 1978) has a degree in Journalism and a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Sales Management. He began writing poetry very young, at the age of thirteen. As a student, he began to publish regularly in different newspapers, cultural magazines and university fanzines.
His poetry has been included in different anthologies, such as 50 ways to love Marbella (2019) or Antología del VI Certamen de Poesía Aliar (2023, Editorial Aliar). He has been a finalist in the Zenda’s Desamor Poetry contest (2023).
In 2019 saw the light his first collection of poems, Talasa (2019, Ediciones Algorfa). Hijos de Afrodita (2021, Ediciones Algorfa) is his second collection of poems, which was followed, a year later, Cronos miente (2022, Ediciones Algorfa). Caprichos de la luz (2023, Cuadranta Editorial) is his most recent collection of poems.
In addition to being a writer, Miguel develops an intense work of promotion of culture in general and poetry in particular. He currently organizes the cycle of recitals Versos Comunicantes (Marbella), which is now in its second season.
